Exclusive: According to obtained intelligence reports, the Taliban, through the Ministry of Interior, are intentionally distributing a two-month salary to the police officers of the former republican government based on their bank account numbers through the provincial police headquarters. This process is dirty scheme, because the Taliban's Ministry of Interior is using this process to gather exact information on the military personnel of the former government, determining their current locations and roles afterward. This decision was made in Kandahar province by the Taliban's Intelligence Commission on October 15, at a time when warnings had been issued about increasing attacks by anti-Taliban resistance fronts and armed opposition groups in Afghanistan.
