Exclusive: According to intelligence information, the head of the GDI of the Afghan Taliban, Maulvi Abdul Haq Wasiq, traveled to Doha from April 7 to 9 and met with a number of CIA officials. Maulvi Abdul Haq Wasiq was traveling to the Qatar on the one hand; there is a lot of pressure on the leaders of the south-west zone of the Taliban to avoid direct contact with the regional intelligence agencies namely Pakistani ISI, Iranian VAJA Chinese MSS and Russian GRU, by adopting a flexible policy towards them. On the other hand, the role of the United States is continuously declining in the Middle East, however the role of China is snowballing and China’s leverage is redoubling in the Middle East. According to the sources, part of the agenda of the talks between the American delegation and the head of the Taliban intelligence agency, Maulvi Abdul Haq Wasiq, in Doha was to evaluate the new geopolitical developments of the Middle East. Maulvi Abdul Haq Wasiq, the head of the Taliban's intelligence agency was briefed by the American delegation advising him, not to adopt a one-sided policy, nor should he rely on a particular Command hub under the leadership of Sheikh Haibatullah.
