Exclusive: According to the intelligence received from the reliable sources within the Taliban, the Supreme Leader of the Taliban, Sheikh Haibatullah, held an emergency security and military meetings in Kandahar province on Monday, April 1, 2024.
The security meeting was held in connection with the prevention of the recently aerial patrols and surveillance of unidentified drones over Afghanistan, especially in Kandahar province and the southwest region, more recent air strike in Gazni province.
The venue of the consultation was Kandahar province, which was chaired by the Acting Governor of Kandahar and the leader of the (national unit) in Kandahar province, Mullah Muhammad Sharin Akhund and the key members of the meeting were as follows.
· Mullah Tajmir Jawad, the first deputy of the Taliban intelligence agency (GDI), the operational head of the special intelligence commission of Sheikh Haibatullah, the supreme leader of Afghan Taliban and the commander of the (Al-Hamza Estishahadi/Suicide Bombers battalion).
· Mullah Hayatullah Akhund, Deputy Assistant of Strategic Intelligence of the Ministry of National Defense of the Taliban.
· Deputy Governor of Kandahar Mawlawi Hayatullah Mubarak.
· Commander of Sheikh Haibatullah's Special Force (LSF) Mawlawi Abdul Ahad Talib.
· Commander of the 205 Badri Corps of Kandahar Province, Mullah Muhammad Khan (Dawat Haji).
· Sheikh Haibatullah's Chief Security Advisor, Sheikh Al Hadith Maulawi Obaidullah Akhund, and various security and intelligence heads of the South-West Gang of the Taliban also participated.
