Weapon depot Kandahar Provincial Police Command

Exclusive: According to obtained classified information, an airstrike was carried out early this morning around 6:00 AM local time on a weapons and ammunition depot belonging to the Kandahar Provincial Police Command. The depot contained military equipment, including light and heavy weapons, that had previously been leftover from American and former Afghan special forces.

Although the Taliban have claimed the incident was caused by an explosion of old munitions, it was not a spontaneous detonation but rather a deliberate and organized airstrike, which completely destroyed the depot.
