Exclusive: According to precise information provided by reliable sources, the Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhundzada, in coordination with Pakistan’s military intelligence agency, and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), has appointed Sheikh al-Hadith Moulavi Muhammad Qasim. Moulavi Qasim, who is the head of jihadist madrasas (Religious School) in Kuchlak, Pakistan. Also, a former classmate of Haibatullah, and the Ex-deputy of the central military council and judicial commission of the Jaish-e-Muhammad militant organization, as the head of the Taliban's Da'wah (invitation) and Tabligh (preaching) department in Afghanistan for a key position.
This is the first time that a former senior member of Jaish-e-Muhammad, a militant organization linked to Pakistan's ISI and accused of carrying out bloody attacks against Indian forces, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, has been given responsibility for a key role within the Taliban in Afghanistan.
