Pakistan engineers terrorist attacks to earn sympathy and funds

Exclusive: On October 14, 2024, a deadly attack by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan occurred at the Bannu Police Lines in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, approximately 350 kilometers (217 miles) from Pakistan's capital, Islamabad. Right after the incident the Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence Publication assets launched an extensive investigation. Findings indicate, the so-called terrorist attacks allow the Pakistan Army, with the financial support and sympathy of China, to continue military operations and maintain a military presence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in tribal areas. According to the information, around fifteen members of the Pakistan police were killed in this attack.
Although the attack resulted in significant casualties among Pakistani government officials, it simultaneously provides the military establishment of Pakistan with various advantages. These include increased international aid and support for counter-terrorism efforts, the coordination of covert operations between the Pakistani military and China against terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and to lead the continuation of long-term internal conflict in the region.
