The ISWAP has intensified its combat operations across West Africa
Exclusive: Based on the obtained information, the activities of the Islamic State group have boosted in West Africa. The information indicates, the ISWAP group has recruited and deployed around 1,270 fighters to West Africa, who broke ISIL prisons in Syria, during the armed conflict between Bashar-al-Asad's regime and HTS.
Hence, the deputy of the Military Council of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), Abu Musa al-Balawi al-Muhajir and Sheikh Abdulqadir Mumin, the leader of the Islamic State Province in Somalia, recently met in Niger. Abdulqadir Mumin, who currently serves as both the head of the Shura Council of the Islamic State group and the leader of the Somalia Province, is also the head of the leadership commission for Islamic State groups across Africa.
